The Walt Disney Company, owners of ABC, have announced their intention to sue the Trump administration and the Federal Communications Commission in an attempt to block an early review of ABC's broadcast licences. Trump has repeatedly criticised the content on ABC. The Company alleges that Trump is using the FCC to try to get the network closed. If the review goes ahead, it would be the first time in over 50 years that an early review has been called on a network's licences. D

The original CBeebies logo made a brief comeback during an end-credits promotion (ECP) on BBC Two after "The Great British Sewing Bee" last night (11th August) at around 9pm. The ECP was promoting the CBeebies Parenting platform, which has gone into promotional overdrive ahead of the back to school season. The old logo and colour scheme was used despite both being dropped in March 2023 during the final phases of the "Chameleon" rebrand. It's intriguing to know how this ended

NHK News has issued a surprise refresh for all of its studios. The graphics themselves remain unchanged, as is the 845 regional news. The refresh was presumably designed by NHK's in-house design agency. All of the major news shows on NHK have been given a new, near identical set design with a slightly re-orchestrated version of the existing music. While "News 7" has relatively minor changes, "Good Morning Japan" and "News Watch 9" have brand new colour schemes, swapping the
