VIDEO: Slow Scenes 24 Continuity - 8th May 2026
Today (5th September) marks exactly 1 year since the 50th Japan Week festival was held in Manchester. The six day event brought over 20,000 local visitors and several hundred organisations and exhibitors from across Japan into the city for a celebration of culture and shared heritage. The event also saw the signing of a landmark Sister City Agreement between Greater Manchester and Osaka, the details of which were finalised at Expo 2025.
Slow Scenes UK (aka me!) was there to cover the opening ceremony, and a special feature-length video hosted by the SYR Bros. premiered simultaneously on the main YouTube channel and the Slow Scenes 24 live broadcast channel.
