What does television mean to you?

This Monday, we'll celebrate 90 years of television broadcasts in the UK. It's a medium that has shaped so many lives in so many different ways.

Television means different things to different people, whether its keeping updated on the latest news or gathering the family for events that brought the whole nation together like the 2012 Olympics.

With this in mind, I want to know...what does television mean to you? Leave a comment here or go to the contribute page and you could be featured on a special anniversary post this Monday.

Submission deadline is Sunday 1st November 12pm GMT.
